About Melody
With over 23 years in film and music, Melody has worked with artists and filmmakers across Los Angeles, Arizona, and São Paulo, Brazil.
A 2005 graduate of the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, she began her career in professional recording studios — assisting audio engineers and top-40 musicians in Los Angeles. In 2008 she moved into film and video post-production, first supporting creative marketing campaigns for broadcast, theatrical, radio, and web, then producing sound design and mixing for independent features headed to theaters and streaming platforms. All along, she kept mixing and recording for independent musicians.
In 2012, Melody began working in São Paulo with independent filmmakers and composers. She now works between both cities — producing content for online marketing and music videos, and freelancing as an audio engineer, sound designer, editor, and producer.
