About Melody
With over 17 years of experience in the film & music industry, Melody has worked with a variety of artists and filmmakers throughout Los Angeles, Arizona & São Paulo, Brazil.
A 2005 graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Tempe, AZ, Melody started her career working in professional recording studios assisting multiple audio engineers & musicians in LA, and in late 2007 began full-time work in film & video post-production facilities throughout LA.
Much of Melody's experience was gained working on creative marketing campaigns for broadcast, theatrical, radio & web — rooted in her five years with Soapbox Films, a full-service production facility specializing in original content for major motion picture studios.
In 2012, Melody began working in São Paulo with independent filmmakers and composers. She now works between both cities — directing & producing content for online marketing, and freelancing as an audio engineer, sound design editor, producer, and video editor.
